eggs benedict are good, hot in dining room

Pros: They serve a lot of food in a short time

Cons: A/C doesn't seem to work well, gritty breakfast potatoes, busy

"It was very busy when we went there for breakfast. Our waitress literally flew from table to table, didn't really take any time to greet us or ask how the meal was. I realize she was very busy and working her butt off. It was also very hot in he dining area. It would have been nice to have the a/c working better. I ordered eggs benedict, which were average. The serving of canadian bacon on the eggs benedict was about two inches around, a very small serving. The side of potatoes were gritty. They were not washed well before they were cooked. My husband ordered pancakes which came with fake syrup, which I absolutely can't stand the smell off. For all the rave reviews, I expected a better breakfast. We are not hustle, bustle, crowded dining area, eat fast kind of people."

"This fast became one my favorite places to eat. They always have great breakfast specials, especially the carry-out breakfast sandwiches.

Both lunch and breakfast portions are huge. I order the turkey club faithfully and always with an extra side pasta salad. I can't finish the entire sandwich in one sitting so the extra is for the left over half :)

My one and only complaint, selfishly, is that they don't deliver, lol."

"Ive been here many times as its the closet coffee house to my home and I have never been disappointed. The price is right and the portions are great. Often on weekends there is a wait so be prepared and (most) of the staff is very friendly. My only complaint is that they only serve breakfast until 11:30 which sometimes doesn't fit into my schedule. Overall, I would highly recommend. "

"you can tell when a restaurant ir ran by people who care. the food, service, and restaurant show it.

this place, the daily paper, is one of those places. the staff are great, the restaurant's decor and cleanliness is tops and the food is excellent.

the time put into creating the ever changing specials is obvious. the breakfast specials are incredible. for example, the home made hash is perfect. Lunch specials are something to behold in their simple perfection. and this is a diner!!!

pricing is more than fair considering the type of meal you are getting."
