Editorial Review:
Cape Cod Times

Whether it's quittin' time and you and some work buddies want to grab a burger and a beer, or you're skipping work to catch a Red Sox, Celtics or Patriots game, sports enthusiasts have a plethora of options when it comes to choosing a locale to take in the game.
We asked readers for their favorite places to watch a game and found a variety of options.
Visitors driving over the Bourne Bridge don't have to drive far for a quality spot to watch a game, because the Trowbridge Tavern, just off the Bourne Rotary, is one of the preferred stops for locals and tourists alike.
The restaurant and bar is part of the Best Western hotel, overlooking the Cape Cod Canal and in the shadow of the Bourne Bridge.
Run by Mary Ellen McCarthy, the Trowbridge always has the Red Sox playing on the television above the bar, and sometimes on a large projection screen where almost every table has a good view.
If you're ordering food, the Trowbridge consensus is the ample cheeseburgers and fries.
